Eritrean asylum seekers go through various dangers on their way to flee their country's regime. Human right violations, long lasting military duty, no press freedom are some of those reasons why they prefer to escape Eritrea.

Some kids leave their families without even letting them know. They pass borders of neighbour countries and  try to get to western countries to find a shelter. Israel is one of these countries. On their way, kids might get kidnapped and their families get ransomed by Bedouin gangs. Some of kids get to border with Israel and get picked up by army and taken to special facilities created for these purposes.

Israeli ministry of education gives a possibility to eritrean kids and teenagers to get education and feel safe at least for some period of time. At some point these kids get from special facilities to educational place, where they learn essentials of understanding and getting around in the modern western world.
